Dr. Paul Davis is a 1992 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced general small animal medicine and surgery and emergency medicine in the Metro East for over twenty years. His special interests in veterinary medicine include soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society, Illinois Veterinary Medical Association, the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Association and the Cornell Feline Health Center. Dr. Davis and Dr. Crocker founded Davis Pet Hospital in September 2012. Their goal is to practice excellent medicine in a very personal and relaxed environment. Dr. Davis and Dr. Crocker are married and have lived in Collinsville for over 15 years. Dr. Davis enjoys bass fishing in his spare time and is the secretary/treasurer of the Steel City Bassmasters. Dr. Karin Crocker is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include neurology and gastroenterology. She is married to Dr. Paul Davis. They have a German Shepherd, Aili, a Golden Retriever, Percy and a brown tabby cat named Rue. Dr. Crocker enjoys gardening and hiking in her spare time. Dr. Crocker
Dr. Edwina Schmitz is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Davis Pet Hospital team in 2016. Previously she worked in Indiana and Nebraska and is excited to be back in her home state of Illinois. She and her husband have two cats Inky and Stormy. In her spare time, Dr. Schmitz enjoys gardening, bicycling, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Schmitz
Katie G. has been working in the veterinary field since 2004 and is currently the office manager at Davis Pet Hospital. Her Family has a rescue beagle named Jas, a Sheltie named Duncan, a Wolfhound named Walt, Barney the cat, and two sons. Katie enjoys interacting with clients and meeting their four legged family members. She enjoys cooking in her spare time, and is an avid recycler. Katie G.
Danielle A. has been a vet tech for 5 years. She graduated from the Vet Tech School of Pittsburgh in 2008 and worked in practice out there for 2 years. Before moving to Pittsburgh she used to work and volunteer at animal shelters. She has three dogs and two cats (all rescues), and two wonderful children. Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and playing golf. Danielle A.
Liz M. and her husband, Paul, live in Missouri with their two dogs Jackie, a Chihuahua mix, and Adler a Border Collie/terrier mix. Liz graduated as a Certified Veterinary Technician from the Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College. Liz really enjoys assisting with dentals and surgeries, and making sure all the pets are comfortable while staying here with us. She worked with Dr. Davis and Dr. Crocker at another animal hospital. Dustin R. has worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2011 after graduating from the Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College in St. Louis, MO. Dustin and his wife, Ashley, live in Illinois with their three dogs and two cats, all rescues. He really enjoys working with animals and doing everything he can to make sure they stay happy and healthy. Dustin R.
Ashley W. is a Certified Veterinary Technician and she graduated from Parkland College in 2008. She has Zoey a terrier/beagle mix who was rescued and Jayden, a black domestic shorthair cat. She enjoys assisting in surgery and monitoring anesthesia to help keep pets safe. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys watching dirt track racing and NASCAR. Ashley W.
Kayla B. graduated from the Vatterott Veterinary Technician program in October 2015. She has a dachshund (Kady), a rescued pit bull (Mya), and a cat (Harley). She enjoys caring for hospitalized patients, the best part is when they go home feeling better. In her down time, Kayla loves spending time with her son, working with horses, and bowling. Kayla B.
Julie S. is a Veterinary Technician who joined Davis Pet Hospital in 2016. She has been working in the Veterinary field since she graduated from Hickey College in 2012. She has 3 children and 5 dogs. She enjoys knitting and has some pretty creative projects going at all times Julie
Diana S. is a Veterinary Assistant who joined Davis Pet Hospital in 2016. She was formerly a CMA for 20 years. Most recently she is retired from running a family owned business in downtown Collinsville with her husband Roger, and daughter Stephanie. She has 3 dogs and 2 cats, all rescues. She loves caring for all animals and will treat them as her own. Diana
Stoli is the resident clinic cat. He is our greeter and loves meeting new clients. He's 14 years old, but you'd never know it based on his enthusiasm for treats and pets. Stoli
